Best regular pho in north DFW. The broth is very authentic and clean. They're not know for spicy pho or pho that comes with bells and whistles. If you want just traditional pho then this is the place to go. Vegetables are very fresh and plenty; the meat is soft and not stuck together. I would strongly recommend getting the shrimp spring rolls. The rice paper skin is very delicate but strong, not too thick yet still able to hold everything inside the spring together very tightly.
Im a grub hub driver. I was picking up and order which came with a drink. I literally saw the lady take a half pty glass from a table that looked like the customers were done eating. and she poar the rest of that drink into a to go cup then took a jar form the fridge and put more in it and gave it to me to go with my order. i will never accept orders for this place . enjoy
This place is simply delicious. I love all the pho and vermicelli noodle dishes. Great spot for late night dinner or midday lunch with people. Service is quick. You go up to pay after the meal.
FOOD INSTAGRAM: @northtx.gemz **** WHAT THEY'RE KNOWN FOR: a popular location in Arlington too but I believe this is a different owner in Carrollton. I prefer this location because of cleanliness. THE VIBE: clean and updated interior. I really like the tiles they used on the wall lol. Very casual place to grab food! PRICE: ~$30 WOULD I COME BACK? Yes! Already did. **** Overall Rating: 9/10 - If you're looking for a cheap place to grab good authentic Vietnamese food this is the place! They also cook SUPER fast it comes out in less than 10 minutes! - I am a classic pho tai girlie (sometimes pho tai and bo vien (meatball). You can taste the quality and cleanliness of this place. I love hole in the wall restaurants but sometimes the food can reflect lack of quality but pho Pasteur doesn't! - I love spring rolls but these were a bit too small and the rice paper was a bit too hard for my liking. I recommend getting an order of their fried egg rolls which is what I got recently and they were delicious! - Great service, great prices, and this location has tons of other food places around it too!
I've been coming here for years, and it's MY GOTO PLACE for pho and all the usual Viet cuisine. It's all about the broth when it comes to PHO. Spring rolls and egg rolls are very tasty with all the yummy "Cham" (dipping sauces). Service is fast but can get busy.
Good pho restaurant that has been around forever with the same family operating it. Taste for the food is always good but it can get busy and service gets a little backed up. It's always clean inside and the restrooms are never dirty like most Viet restaurants. More options than just pho too!
Nut allergy friendly for soups, I didn't even ask. This place was packed on a Sunday! Thankfully, in a parking plaza with plenty of parking. Service here may be slower, as there are only so many wait staff if it gets busy. It took us a while to even get menus. The Vietnamese Coffee came out about 15 minutes after ordering (already dripped though, which others were served as it was dripping) and the soups about 21 minutes after ordering. Where the service is slow, the food is packing in flavor and size! I ordered extra large of the pho and the bun bo hue and it did not disappoint. The prices are extremely reasonable for what you get. The pho broth was oily but flavorful and rich. The bun bo hue was the perfect balance of spice and flavor. My only critique is that the eye of round steak in my pho tai was a bit tough, but they gave so much of it that I can't complain. Would definitely visit again if I'm in Dallas. It stands up to some shops on Bellaire in Houston.
First time trying this hyped up spot and it did not disappoint. First off, it's a little bit off the beaten path from the Carrolton that people may typically associate with and also located in a small strip mall. It's a large restaurant that gets their food out FAST. Like, order your food, use the restroom, and walk back to your food on the table fast. We got the large pho dac biet (aka the combination pho) and it had great pieces of meat, plenty of flavor in the broth, and a solid amount of noodles. Bun Bo Hue was full of flavor and had super tender pieces of meat. (Note: Did not include the pork blood, but I didn't mind that) Also got the fried egg roll appetizer and that was a win as well. Verdict: No frills pho spot with delicious broth, fast service, and great prices. Would recommend
The pho is really good, very comparable to the Houston pho scene which I consider as superior to Dallas. Service is decent and ambiance is basically what your typical image of a pho restaurant would be. Wouldn't recommend the bánh mì but you probably already know that, the authentic drinks are a good try though!
